He graduated as a Medical Doctor from Paris University and also has a specialization in clinical Research and holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris.

He started his career with the French company Sanofi-Synthelabo in the UK (High-Wycombe) before joining Novartis in Basle (Switzerland), where he was appointed Global Brand Manager of the largest blockbuster product of the company: Sandimmune (Ciclosporine) in Transplantation & Auto-Immune Disease (i.e.: Psoriasis, Rhumatoïd Arthritis, Crohn Disease, Uveitis .. etc)
